The Phillips Collection in Washington, DC is presenting a major retrospective of Brett Weston's photographs entitled, Brett Weston: Out of the Shadow from June 21 - September 7, 2008. This exhibition will continue on tour in the US over the next several months. Please check back for updates on dates and participating institutions.

The Archive is pleased to introduce Silverstein Photography as a gallery representative. Silverstein Photography represents the estates of such artists as Robert Doisneau, Ernst Haas, André Kertész, and Barbara Morgan, and is a member of the Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD).

The Archive is pleased to announce the opening of the traveling exhibit, "Brett Weston: Out of the Shadow" organized by the Oklahoma City Museum of Art and the Phillips Collection in Washington DC, and curated by Stephen Bennett Phillips. The largest retrospective of Weston's art since "Voyage of the Eye" in 1975, the exhibit will open at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art on March 20, 2008 before traveling to the Phillips Collection, and the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. The fully-illustrated catalog includes over 100 photographs, many published for the first time, and essays by Carolyn Hill and Jay Gates, Scott Hale, and Johanna Halford-MacLeod and Stephen Bennett Phillips.
